Ventura County Waterworks District No. 16 (District) was formed on May 8, 1972. The District provides sewer services to approximately 320 customers in the community of Piru, and it delivers potable water to customers along Pacific Avenue. The District owns and manages a wastewater treatment plant with a design capacity of 0.20 million gallons per day (mgd). Wastewater is treated using a “secondary” treatment process.
The Ventura County Board of Supervisors is the governing body of the District.
