The District provides sewer services to approximately 320 customers in the community of Piru, and it delivers potable water to customers along Pacific Avenue. The District owns and manages a wastewater treatment plant with a design capacity of 0.20 million gallons per day (mgd). Wastewater is treated using a “secondary” treatment process.
The Ventura County Board of Supervisors is the governing body of the District. Ventura Regional Sanitation District operates and maintains the wastewater treatment plant under a contract with the District.
